About the Project
The objectives of the "Stay Informed- Stay Safe" project are:
- to actively participate in the anti-fake news actions that take place around the world, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic;
- to actively participate in the fight against online fraud, especially in Europe, as, according to a report by the European Central Bank (ECB), fraudulent transactions account for €1.8 billion annually;
- to help adult people 55-75 years old be more confident and feel safer while using the internet;
- to enrich the available tools of trainers and/or institutions who are involved in the field of adult training;
- to engage low-skilled adults in digital learning;
- to raise awareness on the online fraud and fake news phenomena;
- to offer a a complete and satisfying experience to low-skilled adults that will attend the courses, in order to encourage them to actively participate in other adult learning activities, too and always stay active and eager to enhance their knowledge in several fields
